Robotron 2084- with upgrades!

This game has beautiful graphics- all of the robots look wonderful right before they blow up ;) And the gameplay difficulty is set just right to get a little harder every level, which forced me to stay on my toes! I really liked thet fact that upgrades carried over to the next level, which helped clear out enemies and kept the multiplier going. This is an excellent tribute to Robotron! Superb job!

yeah I realised early on that the upgrades really had to continue across levels. It was either that or try to avoid ejecting them too late on each level: I went for the former option 'cuz I really liked the way the pixel teleport looked when you had a shield power-up going on.

this game hasn't been too popular so it's nice to know a few people appreciate it 'cuz it was a project close to my heart: I've wanted to update Robotron in this way since back in the 90's - there didn't seem to be much point doing it back then 'cuz everything was going 3D and there was no flash-game scene to speak of, (and also I was way too out-of-it all the time to ever get around to doing it anyway)....anyway, glad you liked it.

This game is very energetic. its like 40 robots against one!!!! this is a high energy game that is very entertaining. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!

nothing revolutionary, but fun and very well done

hey its nothing we havent played before, but it was definitely fun and the way it was animated made the act of shooting stuff really weighty and satisfying, if that makes sense. All the other reviews seem to be giving the game a hard time for some reason, so im gonna give the ten because this game having 3.24 is just absurd. Its fun and its browser based, people need to relax with the criticism

thanks dude! - I really liked that you mentioned the "weighty and satisfying" shooting/explosions 'cuz really that was my main priority when I made it (so yes you where making sense - at least to me). I really like it when I can 'feel' the stuff I shoot exploding.

I've got a couple of other shooters in the pipeline and I'm gonna try using the same or similar fx to hopefully retain that "weightyness" while also adding a bit more depth of gameplay.
