although I agree that Facebook and Newgrounds are really different, I don't think the like buttons make much of a difference.
In fact, I can't think of anything terrible enough to ruin Newgrounds (except removal the audio portal, the flash portal, the frontpage list of featured submissions, the review feature, and the forums. Basically, a COMPLETE transformation into Facebook)

I completely agree. "Newgrounds" is itself, and not a site that should have other website influences. They said it, themselves.
I agree on what you said - I've always visited newgrounds, because it's a really cool website with a Staff that jokes all the time and has alot fun. Putting up a Facebook LIKE button, is the worst thing they've EVER done :(
