Grimdark and beautiful.
Many people seem to dislike pixel games, but I find they have a certain charm. I really like the music, especially in the village. I really enjoyed it, even though I wish it was longer, but you did a great job telling the story in a consistent manner. I enjoyed the story, and the thrill at the climax went over my expectations, you managed to make the story scare without resorting to violence and gore. The dialogue was great and and believable, you got Appleblooms accent spot on. If you ever think of making a game like this again, I would suggest making it longer, more detailed (with more to explore ect.) and possibly adding several different endings, giving the game lots of replay value.
