I'd like to clarify a few things
First of all, I've seen this before. This is crap. As you said, you did not do it yourself, and if I were you, I'd distance myself from the credits of this game as much as possible.
I've seen the actual picture this was taken from. Waldo has been removed (he is usually standing behind a couple in the middle of the screen), so that you will continue to search for him and eventually die.
It's a good idea.
I gave this a 7, just simply because I liked the concept. But it really didn't freak me out or nothin. That could be because I was expecting something to happen after reading other people's reviews. Damn,,, I never did find Waldo though....
