good start
It is a good start. Having a scoring system is an important part of any pong game so def. look in to fixing that. I also noticed that the "computer" side does not react to the players moves this make it very easy to win. The pong game is not very original but there are plenty of ideas you can try out to make it unique. You could start off simple by making the ball in to some thing else like a smiley or a basketball. Some thing simple like the paddles change color or shrink every time the ball hits it. Adding sound would also make it better. Keep working on it and good luck with the project :D
