Reviews for "Safeway - The Flood"

WOW

Well done ma friend.you should of animated more of the backgrounds but i understand that they are Very detailed and i see they were already a pain to draw but next time add more animation to it.

WTF?

the guy in the brake roo just chillin then all of a sudden wooosh ... he still chillin

EH...

Overall: 3/5 : 5/10

Audio: 5/10
Animation: 5/10
Plot: 6/10

The Audio was rather basic and for the most part, not enjoyable. The Store's BGM (or Elevator music as I call it) was fine but bland, but the watery sound effects was far too loud and over all too compressed.
All other sounds didnt seem to fit well with the rest of the sounds either..

Theres two halves of this Animation that I would like to talk about here.
On one half, the Animation itself was scratchy at best, let alone there wasnt really much animating going on throughout the entire duration of the flash except for the water running which, although is hard to draw let alone animate, it really let down the overall quality of the flash. The humans movements were staggered and unrealistic.
On the other half, the Quality and depth was really good, and really the only reason why the Animation score got anything over 2/10.
It seemed quite evident that you took actual photos of the store and the location and just drew over them to achieve that good quality and depth.

And finally, Plot, Its a clever story line, but it seemed that you were trying too hard to make funny moments, like the employee in the break room, or the fish at the deli. Both of which were funny though, but I couldn't help but tell that it could've been done better...

Overall, I'm not sure how this even got on the front page of NGs, but it seems that as of late, Less than Par front page animations seem to be getting it sadly.

Keep working at your animating skills, you have potential to become quite impressive.

Very helpful advice, thank you. I need to practice animating flowing water.
Most of the flash was rushed right before the day it was due, thanks to my crappy planning. I should have taken more time to work on the fine details.

LOL

i LOVE how the salmon fillets start swimming again! im a meat cutter at a grocery store and this made me laugh my ass off A+

Not bad.

Pretty funny story, even funnier if that actually happened, seeing as it claimed to be based off a true event. Animation was really good! Good job!
