GUYS,I KNOW HOW TO CHANGE A 1.8 SKIN TO 1.7 AND SMALLER!Here are the requirements:
1 skin for 1.8 and highter;paint.net;a skin for 1.7 if you want to make sure everything is good.
First open the skin for 1.8 in paint.net,then select the upper part(NOT THE HANDS DOWN) and then copy it and delete all the pixels.After that,change the picture's height to "32"(here is the 1.7 skin needed for check),and if you want to check that the height and width is good,open the 1.7 skin in paint.net too and check the height and width.After they match,paste the copied over part,then edit the parts you want to edit(NOT RECOMMENDED) and save it(FOR THE ONES THAT WANT IT BOTH FOR 1.7 AND 1.8,SAVE THE EDITED 1.8 AS A NEW SKIN,NOT AS THE OPENED 1.8).After that,put it in your texture,and have fun! :)
