Reviews for "--Bullet--"

Well designed but it can get kind of boring fast and the music doesn't help.

It's ok, but could be better

First of all it seems a bit too difficult everything is just kind of random. Seconds the aim seems to be off a bit, I can aim right at an enemies head sometime and miss when I shoot. Third the music gets on you nerves especially when your trying to find some person that's shooting at you, which brings me to my last point... you have no way of knowing where anyone is shooting from, at least flash and arrow toward where the bullet came from geez.

Summary, rating, and review for --Bullet--

I like this game, that should be the first thing I say. I'm starting off with that because I'm critical of a few aspects that make this game much more frustrating than it needs to be.

The first mechanic I take issue with is time. What I mean by that is; while in bullet time/sniper mode you have your nicely rendered bullet flying along at a cinematic snail's pace, awaiting the inevitable hit or miss. My problem being that while your bullet creeps along at your target, time still progresses at the same rate. What would be a no-scope split-second shot to lasts two to three seconds, killing your remaining time if you happen to miss.

Speaking of missing, that's my second issue. I'm pretty sure others have stated it, but allow me to re-state that the aiming mechanic seems a bit flawed. There were a few times while playing that my reticle was centered directly on a person only to have my bullet sail through a body part without triggering a hit. Then again, there were also a few shots that went through walls to score a hit, so I guess they made up for my stolen kills.

To clarify, I'm not trying to write a bad review about how badly the game is made because it's hard. I got 3 stars on most of my missions, and only stopped because I couldn't seem to care enough to retry my 2 star scores.

Which brings me to issue three, content. I realize you probably have spent a good deal of time making this game, but there is very little to keep you playing. I'm sure most people rage-quit the game after the third level, but beyond that the game gets boring quickly. The change of level is nice for the second round, but there needs to be a change of missions too. I was so happy to finally find that damn elite sniper only to receive my next missions and think, "Oh boy, more birds and snipers.. Can't wait."

All that being said, I really want you to patch/update this so I can play it more. It was fun while it lasted, and I'm sure more content would bring in better reviews/more players. Maybe achieves? Kids these days love achieves.

Boring

This game is boring for a number of reasons. The first being the game doesn't feel legitimate when you die from another sniper. They should at least reveal their position or some animation for shooting you rather than the blood on the screen after the countdown, secondly everything is way too SLOW. A countdown to start, the slow scrolling text and the prolonged cut scenes with nothing happening except changing screens ,not to mention waiting for each guy to appear. Thirdly its stylized... but to what? It feels like it should be 1940's Jazz style with the black silhouettes but then has this strange soundtrack and sin city like approach to blood with a primitive color scheme. Its not a terrible game but I've never really liked the mouse click shooter approach due to it just being more a game of hide and seek before the clock runs out rather than me trying to shoot someone without getting shot myself by hiding. 6/10

Never needed to reload

But it frustrated me during the bird mission, because I would aim just before their beaks and it would say i missed! DX Also I thought you could zoom in more when I started playing, the response with pulling scope up is slow too, And I get a little aggravated when the scope is cut off because the target is too far left or too far right. Just some food for thought if you plan on remaking the game
