Reviews for "Captain Ig'nant"

I agree

This should be a character on the Boondocks. I mean, the voice sounds like Charley Murphy anyway. Great flash.

Good stuff!

A lot of people need to get over being offended so easily apparently. This is obviously a satire with a specific message that's all too true. The truth is that there's no reason why more people within the black community couldn't be doing better if they applied themselves. It's really not even about the color of their skin, it's about the ghetto-culture (which just happens to have a higher percentage of black people). There needs to be more entrepeneurship in the culture and less of a want to make money and do what "feels good" without considering the consequences.

Damn Good.

This short reminds me of the Boondocks by Aaron McGruder, L`d MAO,
Great work. A must-watch.

Hmm. I don"t get it.

I find this quite offensive actually. But I am not American. It must be a cultural thing. So my opinion isn't relevant I suppose.
Still, keep in mind that to the eyes of many people around the world, this kind of humor goes way over our heads. It makes me think some of you are quite... kind of... crazy... in a dangerous way.
But I would welcome some enlightment on the topic.

Chakra-X responds:

Yeah in America there is a prevalent image of violent, angry, poor, thug-like black people in mainstread hip hop, the media, movies, etc. Even within the black community, there is a self-defeating image of what is considered "black". Talking like you live in the hood, staying in the hood, hyper masculinity, etc. Even other cultures push this, such as the white community. So it is an overall problem and this point out of ludicrous these images are.

love it

I really want to get the last song on here, but cant seem to find it anywhere...
