Delightful! Absolutely delightful.
What a breath of fresh air it was to play this thing! It's been a while since I've had this much fun playing a game like this.
With adorable pixel-y graphics, witty dialogue and a lovely soundtrack, this thing is just a joy from start to finish. Nothing too complex, but nothing too tedious. The game doesn't fall into a 'dreary' mode with repetitive actions or pointless moving around, but it does allow the player to get right to the point and yet have a ton of fun along the way!
My favourite bit was the dialogue. Most of the time when I play games like this I tend to avoid talking unnecessarily, but the witty and funny dialogue in this one made me speak to absolutely everyone in the game. The Michael Jackson puns in the club were absolutely hilarious. And the Hair Club people too!
I do hope you continue making games like this. Maybe a different setting, but certainly with this level of charm.
A few things I was really hoping to see in this game -
The easter eggs were fantastic. I was really hoping the dialogue would with certain characters depending on how you looked. It might be a lot more to program in there, but the payoff would've certainly been worth it.
Also, the last choices in the game could've been more influential giving multiple endings. And also the choice of appearance at the end would allow different things to happen with either the mom or the milk guy or the frog at the end.
Those are little icings on top the cake and would've scored this thing perfect. I really enjoyed playing this and I hope that there will be more coming!
Interesting concept
I enjoyed playing this game, although the the priority it to just find milk....and I never got to fight my evil twin..
EASTER EGGS ARE FUN!
the play is REALLY simple. there are no battles. you do have to use your head though. also you cannot aquire items until AFTER you recieve a quest for them, so don't even try. also even though there are more than one of the items you are asked to aquire, the game wants particular items. the game will let you know if the item you are trying to get is the right one or not. if you answer the wrong thing to a question, don't worry, the game will give you another chance. the music matches the game quite well.
however, even though Juice-Tin added various (and humorous) side stories with the NPCs, the game IS a little short so i took away a star. sorry dude. you still got 9 though. speaking of NPCs, make sure you talk to all of them, as there are quite a few puns.
TO REALSMMK: you asked if anyone would post the locations of the easter eggs. in the menu, find the passage to the left of "new games". there you will find a man walking around labled "secrets". ask him to activate the eggs. ALTERNATE METHOD: go through the game once. during the credits, walk over to the woman on the right. when she asks if you want to skip the credits, say yes. you will automatically wind up in the "secrets" part of the menu. ask the man to turn on the eggs. ONCE ACTIVATED the eggs are pretty easy to find.
