Not the best sequel...
To be honest, I didn't like this one as much as the first DG, even though the great quotes are still there for every new element.
My main problem is the fact that most of the new elements are a huge challenge for every rationally thinking person. I would never have guessed that glass and water combine to ice, because it doesn't make any sense if you think about the elemental composition of those 2.
The only thing that saved me from quitting was the hint button, even though I wished it to be permanent, because waiting is a real nuisance if you are out of ideas due to some crazy combination you couldn't guess at all.
The new categories overlap with some of the old ones. Sorting all of the elements and placing them in a new order would be necessary, the large amount of symbols is confusing at times, especially if some elements shouldn't be in their category.
Also, I don't own an iPhone or a smartphone. Constantly being told what you miss if you don't have any opportunity to get it is rather annoying.
The philosopher's stone is an idea from alchemy and has been around much longer than Harry Potter. It was thought that lead could be transformed into gold through chemical reactions. It was the first book btw, "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone". The idea was not stolen >.>
