Awesome animation.
I just think you could have given it a better ending. Yours was a bit anticlimactic. Overall, though, it was extremely cool.

This reminds me of a little animation I saw called Kiwi, where a kiwi bird nails a ton of trees to the side of a cliff and jumps off to feel like it's flying
