Reminds me to a motor bike game of sega

I don't remember the name of that game, but it reminds me to that. I guess the game is fine, maybe adding a plot or something else to complete would be great. The menu is like, a box at the left, can I ask why? I mean, I didn't expect that, was a problem that you couldn't fix or something like that?.
Anyway, the art was fine and the coding was really nice.
Good luck in the Jam!
Best Regards,
MonoFlauta

Lambinvoker responds:

The screen size originally fit that box. We had planned to have the objects flash their incoming position to warn the player, but we ran short on time and the warning mechanic was scrapped. When we submitted the game, everyone complained that it was impossible and that there wasn't enough time to react so I explanded the game screen to the maximum that newgrounds allows to compensate. As a result there are now two suns in the background and the title and instruction screens look off. I could ask my artist to make another title image to replace the current one, but I really don't want to bother him for it.

lol funny

funny game i like how the bear drives the motor bike lol

Lambinvoker responds:

It's how I drive to work everyday.

Pretty good game for being made in 72 hours

A good fame for the time limit with a challenging difficulty but not impossible
PROS
-comedic and awesome idea
-controls well
-fun
CONS
-lack of checkpoints, most levels are a learning experience so you have to keep replaying to master the levels but it gets annoying to have to replay the early levels to get to your level (if not checkpoints at least a couple extra lives after levels
-depth perception of game is off, sometimes i would be on a different section of road then the box and be killed because the top of my head hits the box
Decision: 7/10 fun gameplay for the amount of time with fun difficulty but lack of checkpoints and bad perception make it a bit annoying, but nonetheless pretty good game

Lambinvoker responds:

Thanks, all of these things would have been fixed if I knew how to manage my time more effectively. This was great practice. I will try harder next Game Jam.

Let me guess.

Battletoads level 3. I never got past that level.

Nevertheless this was fun and more satisfying.

Lambinvoker responds:

Good guess. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

brings back memories..

i didnt sit though the whole thing personally, but it just didnt pull me in. needless to say, it does remind me of the times i went through battletoads for NES. its well done, but the collision areas are a bit,.. shall i say, fuzzy. one thing that could make this better, aside from sharper collision mapping id have to say is remember the roots. rather then just extend the screen, you could bring back how battletoads did it, and flash whats coming up soon on the far end of the screen. nothing too fancy, just showing its coming up so the player can prepare for what is to come. aside from that, great execution!

Lambinvoker responds:

Warning the player with flashing what was coming was in the original plan. In fact, we had a semi-working model, but it wasn't reliable. This is the main reason why the screen size was so small in the first submission. I hate to blame everything on the time limit, so I will blame my poor program management skills. I'm getting better though. I love these game jams, tons of practice while under pressure.
