I like how, regardless of the other differences between the two scenes, the flowers are the same. It kind of suggests to me that, whatever else may have changed over time, he's kept getting her flowers.
On a technical note, the water kind of looks like it's just sitting on top of the bricks. If you wanted it to look a little more realistic, it would flow into the spaces between the bricks.
But over all, it's a super cute scene in a complementary style. I also really like the over all appearance of dampness. You did that really well.
