Reviews for "Copy N' Paste"

Great game, but

It needs some work like level 13, I completed it but it wont take me to the next level. All in all it's a great game.

Pretty good

Entertained myself untill the cactus stage, couldn't really grab the rockets . Everytime I spam click it just releases it in the wrong direction. Kinda curious what the next stages will be so its still a good game :p

yeeeep... ))

That was a HUUUGE COOOOKIE at the end ))

Needs work

The idea of the game is quite interesting. I like the idea of pasting objects around the level to solve challenges. Unfortunately in actual execution it falls apart.

The biggest problem with this game is in the controls. Clicking and placing objects isn't hard, but actually utilizing them is miserable. In the stage with the cows, it's not obvious where the cows' boundaries are, so it's easy to mistime your jumps and fall. Using boxes to spring yourself up is next to impossible as well, because where you put the box seems to affect how high you leap, but it isn't consistent, which makes it impossible to know how high to place new platforms or if you even need them at all.

Which items you can copy-paste isn't very apparent either. For example, in the stage with the giant cactus that you have to hit with a rocket, how do you know what to click? Why are the rockets copy-pastable but the rocket launcher isn't? Why can't you copy-paste the cactus? I'm not saying any of these should act differently in the gameplay; I'm suggesting that they should be visually distinct. Copyable objects should glow or have a special outline.

"Of course you grab the rockets," you say to me now. "The help thing says, 'The cactus is allergic to rockets'. Duh." Except that the point-and-click controls for some reason stopped working when I tried to click the rockets. I had to spam-click them just to grab one, and frequently, doing so caused me to also immediately paste it.

If the controls and presentation were more wieldy and focused, I'd say this was a great game. As it is, it's unintentionally frustrating and needs a lot of work to be really good.

great game
