Different enough to be called creative but not different enough that it sounds nothing like it. Personally I prefer the second overworld theme but this one is good also.

I'll state this; if I knew how, I'd replace all the FF6 original songs in the game with your remix.
I love it, and I'm a big fan of FF6, which is a plus.
You should consider remaking some of the songs of Setzer and his ship(s). Seriously, I love those songs, and I'd love to see you remake them...
