seen a lot of these before
it's been done much better before, so although it's okay, keep trying to improve the formula. try looking up a sega genesis game called "Ranger X" for some inspiration from this genera of game. I do see potential though so don't quit!

Fun, but gets old quick.
I love sidescrolling shooters, and this one gets your hopes up with upgrades and leveling, but then you realize five minutes in that this is as fun as it gets.
