Reviews for "Necrorun"

i know you can get past them...

but the trees on the cliffs are a real pain and take a bit of fun out of the game. especially when youve just started playing the game and are not skilled enough at it to hit the trees. id suggest, if anything, taking the ability away for them to spawn so close, and allow them to move closer to the edge as you run farther. it takes some of the fun out when you allow one of the harder obstacles to move past spawn so close to the start. otherwise, the music was fitting and nice and the art beautiful, it has been a concept done many times before though so you lose a bit in originality. not much though because you add some new twists to make it interesting. keep up the good work, just take into accountability the learning curve of most players, i dont know about anyone else, but it took my a while to actually start hitting the trees effectively. that still doesnt mean you didnt do a great job. keep it up.

Aimming sucks

Aiming with the mouse is annoying. My spear points when I move the mouse instead of where my mouse is on the screen. Maybe you did that on purpose. Forcing me to move my mouse or use the arrow keys instead of having my mouse in a particular direction. Regardless, I found it annoying.

The concept is awesome, and I haven't found problems with jumping yet. I'll love to see more work like this. :)

A throwback.

But not in a bad way.

The first thing I wanna say is that this is probably going to at some point be compared to Robot Unicorn Attack, if it hasnt been already. Its a very similar formula, jump attack jump attack etc, but that same formula had already been played out even before RUA. Now that I have that out of the way.

There are a few minor griefs like the trees near ledges right below a long fall jump are nearly impossible to predict and will frustrate you to no end when you've been doing good.

The thing I honestly really REALLY like about this game is the style itself, its very much an NES stylized throwback on this tried and true method and im enjoying it immensely.

Wha...

Like the idea, but controlling his weapon was impossible for me.

Placement should be based on mouse placement (when controlling with mouse) instead of when you move it up/down. Found that part basically imposs, but good otherwise.

pain sometimes

good idea but glichy unresponsive controls and the tree placement is really bad often there is a tree right under you and you cant do anything about it causing you to die
