Crazy

The entire time I was watching I was just waiting. I chose not to read the reviews in fear of spoilers (GOOD IDEA). I waited watching on the edge of my seat hoping something funny happed at the end and not something scary. As it neared the end I was almost shitting my pants waiting for something to happen when all of a sudden FURRIES! I must say the Art is AMAZING and noone can argue with that. I think if you moved from comedy to horror it would be epic!

That was amazing.

*SPOILERS*

A very beautiful and well crafted short. But all spoiled by such a stupid punchline. I mean, I'm not against the false setup for a funny joke. but a furry joke? seriously?

I dunno, was weak. I felt you could have concluded it better. And your whole movie depended on your conclusion. it was all build up.

SHIEEEET

And thus...I shall never think of furies the same...EVER!!!

Simply terrifying-

HotDiggedyDemon has done it once again, deliver a superb, over-the-top flash animation again that is. This movie treads along the lines of The Shining and The Secret Window in terms of suspense horror. The style in which it was delivered, namely the separation of short creepy days, helped the intent a lot. The background sounds were great, adding wonderfully to the ambient. The ending music was also spot-on, and it seems to be one of your defining characteristics; using an upbeat melody to contrast the horror is a great technique will allows for the fear to linger quite a while after the end. I was, however, expecting that final fright after the credits, since you did that on "The Greatest Idea Ever!" too. Some things you might want to work on in the future are, first of all, the walking animation which focused on the man's feet. I felt like that one scene was quite lousy quality-wise relative to the rest of the short. Also, I really wanted to see some more insanity from the protagonist. I felt that some of this feeling was delivered in the broken TV scene, but it could have been so much greater. I was hoping he would, in an anger rush, hit/kick his dog. This would have added more to the moment in which he finds him dead. On that note, that scene's feelings were delivered superbly, especially with the dog's dead eyes which I feel was the most impressive effect in the whole film. I felt that at times, shadow effects were overused, in an attempt to increase the darkness of it all, you have to be very careful not to overdo these effects. Finally and most importantly, the furries. If I were to guess, and I hope my guess is close, those were added to create that creepy contrast between innocence and death. There was just something lacking from them. It may have been that their movement was quite rigid, and they didn't express much movement. I feel that if you had implemented the same type of action from the furry at the end credits to the ones from the video, at least for a split second before a blackout, the impact would have been much greater. Nonetheless, the suspense build up, as well as the dog's death made up for this. Excellent animation, 5/5 - 10/10. Keep up the great work!
