Okay, Other games have done (much) better.

The story and writing is incredibly cheesy, and actually took away from the game. (Lol @ "My girl is bleeding"). Also, the gameplay was just done better in Sierra 6. The gunshot noises were obviously the most generic ones you could find. Only redeeming quality is that I got to listen to a bit o' Gimmie Shelter. Any game's better with The Stones.

Average effort

An average shooter game with many faults in design.

Graphics are decent, sound is meh, and gameplay is a okay. Many of the flaws are short-falls in design and common sense.

Examples:
You aren't suppose to kill cops, but you can't shoot their tires out so they can't pursue you... but you are suppose to shoot their engine up to the point the vehicle crashes. Right...

Quick-time events... to accomplish nothing in the grand scheme of the game. Basically a bunch of filler, that a cut-scene would have taken care of. Design tip: If you are thinking of quick time events... you need to think harder or not do it at all.

Enemy shooters instantly hit you when you are exposed, there's no chance of missing. There's no real tension or risk in taking a shot. You know you are going to get hit and the game becomes more of a battle of attrition and luck than anything.

Enemy shooters can shoot through glass without breaking it, have no muzzle flash on their guns, and can practically hide in the background because of this.

A decent proof of concept demo, but not a finished product.

how do i start the engine???

very dissapointing.

im a big fan of the sift head series, but this one was terrible in comparisson to the others.
first the game had a few glitches, for example i found on several occassions when trying to jump out to fire i found myself tapping the spacebar like a madman. when you had to hotwire the car i mad several attempts but it just kept cutting back the screen with the wires. also had difficulty on the level after you have to stop the truck as definate head shots counted as body shots and i had to start all over again.

gameplay wise not bad, my main concern was the fact you couldn't reaload unless you were in the line of fire, making that part in the house very stressfull.
But my main concern was how small it was, i ejoyed the previous story as you had to make choices and figure things out and they were generallly quite epic.

I hope you improve on your next one.
