Never saw any lag
Don't know what the other comments are going on about. Game was okay, not the most exciting thing ever, but for a 24 hour project I think it was quite good.

Not sure what everyone means by the lag. I got every single upgrade without lagging once but the game was great and i would love to see another. good job :)

I dont see any lag at all so sadly, I fail to see what you are all bickering about from lag. Anyhow, the game is pretty good. Only thing I think would be nice is to have a bit more recoil on the way back up after hitting maximum velocity downwards. halofanatic13 puts some good ideas actually, so take a look about and see what we've got for ideas, maybe they can be implemented into a second more upgraded version of this game if you plan to choose so.
Fun but laggggggggggggggs
This was a pretty fun game if you can ignore the terrible lag, and I have a new computer specifically built for gaming. It seems like it is related to collisions either with the walls or with the stars generally. It was way too easy to level and until I upgraded the rope a lot I pretty much dove off and never bounced back up at all, just hung there as long as I could keep mashing the space bar when I had to. Perhaps add some sort of enemy kind of thing that you maybe have to dodge or something to break up the monotony of just jumping off, hitting stars, then purposefully cutting the rope instead of just hanging there forever. Also, check the collision detection method you are using to see if that is what is causing the terrible lag since it only seems to lag for me when I hit stars or the wall.
