You can't just pull jokes out of your ass and think they are funny. Sure there are plenty of things that can be random and funny, but even those require some amount of thought. Humor is something that can be very difficult to achieve and is perceived very differently from person to person. This right here is just nauseatingly random and feels like no planning was involved in the making of this. It also doesn't help when it's painfully and I mean horrendously obvious that you are trying too hard like with the screaming. It just comes off as obnoxious and is very annoying for the viewer.
Too forced to be funny
I'm mixed with this. It's overrated thats for sure but it does have some funny parts such as the bomb joke. The problem is that the bad jokes make people who understand humor so infuriated with your style that they dismiss your good ones. I'll try and say the positive and negatives of the video as this video is worthy of a long review.
This feels like a first draft of family guy jokes where Seth MacFarlane could come in and go "lame, lame, lame, that ones good, lame, that ones good, lame, lame" and then place them into his show with the typical "you think thats bad louis well remember the time I got Gary Coleman to hold that bomb for me?" flashback.
It doesn't surprise me this is so popular with fans as people know the random humor is easy to pull off. However I felt it was just overkill here with bad jokes and I'm sorry to say bad voice acting and animation.
In conclusion you have some talent coming up with jokes, if you could filter out the bad ideas and insert the good ones into a plot like some of the popular cartoon shows you might actually be able to make something incredibly awesome and universally popular but right now this video is nothing more than an unfocused, unstylized showreel that comes across to me as "wannabe" humor without any real vision.
I've given worse videos better scores in the past only because I haven't wanted to hurt the authors feelings but I'm sure with all the positive comments and the attempt at being a clown that won't be an issue here. This video is below average in every way but has elements of potential that most Newgrounds cartoons don't. 4/10
Hmmm...
Short, simple animation. Not too bad visually, and it works, but I didn't find it all too funny. Being random doesn't automatically make it humorous, especially if there isn't any point or punch line.
