Reviews for "Gamer Guilt v2"

Was ok

It was pretty good. Some good insights on classic games vs modern ones. ( I love SMRPG, by the way). It did drag on a bit though, it could have been perhaps a bit more concise. Also, the animation really wasn't much more than moving thumbs and mouths. Cuts to the game being played occasionally or maybe a bit more depth of motion would be great. Overall, though, not bad.

Yay! A funny one!

After a long finally a funny video on NG. Not like all those kiddie humor, schadenfreude thingies. It really cracked me up, to hear that last sentence of Captain Chieftain (Totally wrong name?).
I self am an admirer of good gameplay, and abstract graphics. - I really hate those realistic 'looking' games with some conditioned gameplay slapped on! This here is likely, Your art skills are not the best, but it's fun!

The deduction of stars is based on the use of the word 'gay'. It's not acceptable to denounce a group of people with using them for expressing disgust!

KayJayBee responds:

the use of the word "gay" in this was obviously not meant to denounce a group of people. I agree that the word shouldn't be used in a derogatory manner, but it's commonly thrown around on Xbox Live and I had Masterchief use the word because he's meant to be a reflection of that community.

I understand wanting to be PC and all, but there's clearly nothing offensive about this. The character is meant to be a reflection of online gamers, who are known for being offensive in several ways.

Uhmm

The overall is good, but I think the audio isn't clear enough

good job, and keep with your animations !

Pretty Good

This flash is pretty well written, had a small but good selection of music, and was overall enjoyable. On the other hand the lack of a loading bar for a 8.5MB flash was kind of annoying, and when Master Chief appears the noise is too loud. Those are pretty minor cons and can be fixed easily.

For next time I would suggest making the visuals a little more diverse (use hand gestures and different camera angles etc), and just keep on practicing your voice acting (it was a little dry this time around).

But overall I say great job on your first flash, I'm a sucker for Nintendo nostalgia.

What happened to the audio? Did he always sound like this?
