Nice little game
This was a nice simple little game you made here,it wasn't long or very complex but it had a sense of funny randomness of having to control an ox throughout an icy level to turn on the heater,the controls took a little time to get used to with the slight delay and trying to break the 30 second mark is a true challenge but overall for a simple game this was pretty nice so keep up the good work. :)

Difficult but strangely decent
Yes people have said about the controls and yes it is like steering with a crowbar but it actually isnt that bad once you get the timing right. Also just got firestarter with a time of 29.2 seconds, rather close one there. I can understand your point about the game not having to be easy, the only jump I really hated was the starting jump and the one from the second platform, the only improvement I could say is being able to jump from the second platform.
Also tip for others, instead of trying to jump on the third box just run back a bit and then run through the gap in the wall, saved me about 3 seconds of precision jumping.
thanks, with this originally being for the game jam; I decided not to alter level design or add more levels but stick to the original concept and just fill in the blanks (programming). If I were to make this game anew it`d be longer and I would have changed the things you mentioned (2nd platform).
Not to bad considering
Well, this game was overall mediocre. This is because of many things, which i am about to explain, but for its size and the fact that it was your first game, it wasn't bad at all.
Gameplay: 6/10 & 3/5, I do understand that the controls were supposed to a little, well, annoying. Unfortunately, they were a little to annoying and VERY tedious, however, kudos to you for getting the movement of an ox so truthful.
Story: 7/10 & 4/5, It was a short game, not giving much room for a story, but you did end up putting in a pretty nice and somewhat comedic story, but it could have had more backstory, maybe a scene with Benny and the other ox.
Music (3/5 & 1.5/2.5) and Graphics (2/5 & 1/2.5): 7/10 & 2/5, The music was nice, but was overall too repetitive. this is because it uses basically the same sounds and rhythms over and over, however i do understand that this is a short game. Graphics could have been much better. According to the story, this takes place in a jail, so why not add some cells or guards in the background?
Overall Game: 6/10 & 3/5
Final Verdict: 6/10 & 2/5 + 1/10 & 1/5 (because it was your first game) so 7/10 & 3/5, you did do a good job in consideration that you did everything your self, as well as this being your first game, do overall, good job
Very decent
For what this is, its really not bad at all! I feel that this should be said due to everyone else giving you a hard time for the controls.
Yeah, the controls aren't conventional or all that practical for gaming. But thats the idea and ... let's face it ... the only challenge of the game. Without that, finishing the game in 30 seconds would be far too easy.
But at the same time this is still a simple game etc etc. But hell it kept me entertained for a good 20 minutes to get that last medal.
For a first game
This was fantastic. It really shows that you put some thought and time into this instead of using some hackneyed old game concept with poor animation.
I enjoyed the amusing little plot, as well as the challenges.
It was far too short to be enjoyable though, and the controls were extremely annoying, but all this has been said before. I hope to see more games from you in the future.
