The concept was nice and simple. Everything moved decently, it wasn't buggy, and I enjoyed its simple design.
I'd recommend adding more power-ups than just health or shield, and maybe more than one type of boss.
You should try designing a weapon system that goes with how things don't stick. Use power-ups to get new weapons, but only for a set amount of time.
This has great potential, and like it is now is pretty decent.
