Reviews for "Electrical Gathering"

wow, good

i neveer woulda been able to guess this was garageband.
power to the mac!
:D
great song, yes it does kinda need a beat.
the quality seemed a little fuzzy, but its kinda hard to master garageband, what with only like, one volume knob.

10/fiven.

Nugz92 responds:

Hey thanks! It is hard to use garage band BUT I now have Reason so I can make better songs. I only have to learn Reason though, it is hard. I might buy FL 6 if it is supported by Macs which I don't think it is but that's too bad. lol, I'll just make a song in reason and remix it in garageband and post it I guess. I have a song coming out it'll be a short loop about 1 min long not sure. I am making it in reason an guess what! REMIXING IT IS GARAGEBAND...w00t. lol peace and again thanks for the review I appreciate it!

Cool

Whether or not this was your intent, you made an 8-bit video game song :P

I'm impressed at how full this sounds, given that I can only detect one patch in the entire song, used as both bass and treble. I'm glad to see that there is no random clicking and that you take the time to adjust the stuff on the screen to fit the melody you're thinking of.

You're probably not going to improve on this song; I know I don't like to change and resubmit songs. Either way, some parts of this could do with a nice atmospheric pad.

Knowing that you have talent, I suggest you experiment a lot with yor audio programs to find out all they can do. Talent may be innate, but the only way to get technically good is to practice.

I'm sorry if I take a teacher-like tone, but I'll hazard you haven't made a whole slew of songs before this one. Take this all as friendly advice.

I am working n other songs to make a album so I can sell it at my school cause my school is a techno based school, and people have heard only samples of my music. I will soon try to make this song a ringtone for my friend cellphones. That would be cool. Ok, back t your review. The program I use doesn't have atmospheric pads but once I learn how to use Reason 2.5® better I can use some pads to repair the song. I am experimenting with garageband and I'm getting pretty good with it so I can use it to remix some stuff a bit. I just need to leann reason for now cause it's a lot harder than garageband. Ill talk to you over adium!

Very good for a first

You did a great job with the melody! Sounds very 16-bit, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Might be a little more interesting if you made some drums to go with it or something. But I can already tell you'll be a great artist soon enough! Fivified.

really good!!

i gotta say this piece is awesome (for a program NOT FL) the only thing i notice is the quality is a little low. it doesnt take much for me to like a song. i mean i do some clicking around not even adding anything in FL just using the basic menu (kick, snares, claps, and the hihats and i like it lol. so a few synths with a nice melody and love it. so its not that i dont know alot (which is why i cant tell you whats wrong with it) its just...im not fussy lol. but good song!!! keep it up. excellent for a 1st post man. seriously

Nugz92 responds:

The quality is indeed low because if I did it on high qaulity it would have been too big. I will edit the middle for those of you that can hear an error.

Power to the 8-bit!

The lack of base sorta improved it, I think. I'm no synther myself, but this sounds more organized than most stuff I hear.

WOOT [SHLD]

Nugz92 responds:

Yeah, I was thinking about adding bass to it, but 8-bit things usually don't have a lot of bass and that was the point in this song. =D
