Reviews for "Planet Defense 1"

Many big problems

Shoeckwave massively damage turrets that arent near the explosion, since turrets ricochet against eachother (in space? BS!) they take lots of damage.

Our turrets get thrown around too much. Causing their destruction against tthe planet (and eachother). Its such a dramatic event that i can see brand new turrets lose 50% of their HP in seconds just because their neigbors are moving a bit too much. Worse, it does that to the whole defense system since my turrets are all clustered around the planet so nearly 25% of them get damaged/killed due to MOVEMENT alone! If i didnt build 10 or so repair platforms i would litteraly lose a fourth of my turrets the instant one shockwave is close enough!

So.. we can lose tons of money jsut because they move a pixel? How about making them return to their position? Or making them immobile?

Rocket turrets sucks because:
- they kill everything withing range. including your turrets and themselves.
- are too expensive
- their explosiosn catapult rocks around for occasional catastrophic results.
-...so they are so bad i woudnt use them even if they were free. Its suicidal to use them!

We cant move, sell or upgrade out turrets.

At least we can repair them after we build 50 turrets... but its not an option, its essential to not lose within seconds.

Epic or frustrating, can't tell

Man i really enjoyed this game, there are a few problems like no upgrades or an ending(if there is, i couldn't get it) but it was really good.

While I was playing, i thought, "well pretty easy..." but the game started getting harder, and i saw my ships being destroyed, and i realised that no matter how much of them i rebuilt, they just kept being destroyed, over and over. So i saw earth being destroyed, the red atmosphere, the catastrophic situation in the surface and the music in addiction to my will to keep the planet alive, gave me a feeling that i'm not sure what was.

i don't know, if i felt like that battle against the comets was epic (althought lost), or if it was just frustrating. Anyway, i can only say that it was a cool experience, hope you keep making games like this.

too many problems

has a lot of potential but there are way too many problems.

- turrets can't move or be sold
- rockets destroy your own units
- can't upgrade
- etc

fix all the problems and make a new one, maybe it will get a 10

sucks

i played till i got everything and the fuckin rockets missed and killed eachother u have to fix that

great
