This must have taken you a LONG time to draw. But it was definately worth it. The only thing you could improve on would be the plot- the ending did seem a bit random. But on the whole, I think you did a great job with this, well done!

Thanks a lot, the ending was changed slightly so I could make the animation shorter and finish it in time, it might have worked better with more animation, since I had to cut the track.

That was fantastic. The animation was superb, the story told quite well (I find that many would-be storytellers don't know how to tell a story without dialogue, so this earns double kudos for that), and what has to be my favorite aspect was that the music cues were perfectly matched by the action.
I don't give maximum ratings often (this might be the first time, even), but this one deserved it. If this is an example of what they teach in that course at Thames Valley, more people need to enroll there.

Thanks! Yes they do encourage us a lot to tell a story without dialogue and we were also taught film making techniques, but there is also a lot of work that you have to do yourself, so it did help that I've used flash for years. I don't learn everything there but it does indeed help.

Very Nice video
I really like your art style in this video. Especially the intro where the grass and plants are all growing. The backgrounds are absolutely amazing throughout the entire video. The music is also very well synced with what is happening.
The only part that I believe you could improve greatly upon is the characters. When I watched it the blonde hairded one ruined the beauty of the background with his sudden and some what "random" appearence into the scene. This made me kind of have a grudge with him. Also if you spent a bit more time with the people I believe it could be greatly improved (I understand you only had a month, and with that time constraint + other college courses it is very good) I just think you wanted some more feedback.
So overall very nice job! And I'd like to see more submissions / animations by you.

I suppose you are right about the entrance, all I can say is I was low on time and needed something to fill that part of the music which synced well. I had some feedback and my lecturer said the guys looked too young which was too late to change, and it took me a bit of work to get a good female character.

I see some promise in your work.
This is actually a pretty good job, considering that this was all hand drawn. The animation is much better than some of the crap that somehow makes it in, so I'm sure you'll pass judgement. As for the story, although I'd personally like a happier ending, I suppose that life isn't always as kind. Anyway, good luck with your future works!

lol yeah, the ending was changed a little because I had planned something impossible to make in time, but at least one of them got the girl XD.
