My Review.
It was a pretty fun game. I liked the idea of the game and how somewhat original it was - though it was very similar to the minigame My Blaster Runs Hot from RCFCIT, it seemed a little more well done than that.
Positives: It was somewhat easy to control, I liked how you could upgrade different aspects of the game, such as weapon ammo amount, health, tree health, etc.. The sound was ok and the graphics were fine. The diversity of the types of characters (normal, w/inner tube, fat) made the game less boring in that aspect than without.
Needs To Be Fixed/Added: I didn't enjoy the fact you couldn't fire 360 degrees - only up, down, left, right, and diagonal. I also did not like the fact your tree doesn't gain any health back if it's destroyed - you should be able to revive it; for a price, of course. I didn't understand the idea of kids on inner tubes being an enemy, though kids on sleds would make much more sense to me. The idea of fat kids exploding was lame - instead have them wield some of the weapons and attack that way.
Ideas: Instead of making kids wield weapons from the start, for the first few levels make them open-handed, then add the weapons to them, then continue down getting harder from there. This will make the game seem a little easier, yes, but it'll get the idea of how to play the game down. being able to upgrade how often weapons appear or how much damage a weapon does would make the game have even more diversity.
Overall: The game is pretty good - it deserves the reward it has. Sure, it's not the best game I've ever played, but it ranks as one of the good games though.
