Controls ruin it
They're unresponsive. Crashed because my bike never responded in time. I've played much better Tron flash games.
Plus the time in between sessions is way too long.

The "unresponsive" controls you're experiencing is likely due to the fact that the game space is a GRID, with rows and columns that are much larger than the actual pixels, so often times, when you hit a key, you will NOT immediately turn because the blue cycle is BETWEEN rows/columns. Often times, it will LOOK like you've got room to turn at the last second, but it will already be TOO LATE because the next available row/column is blocked by a wall or light trail.
And "the time between sessions" is indeed probably a bit long for contemporary gamers' sensibilities, but this is a faithful recreation of the original 1982 arcade game, which actually had 3 other types of levels in addition to the lightcycles so the delays were probably to allow you to transition between game types.
Thanks for the feedback, though!
faithful representation of the tron game
but i honestly couldn't get past the second level. honestly, spent fifteen minutes on it and said fuck it. but yeah, if i had a joystick it would be like i was playing the real thing.
ok it is fun BUT, c'mon the computer enemies take no damage when you touch them and they even KNOW and just kamikaze into you....
meh
Good for nostalgia not too good as a game. Just keep making your own box lower right quadrant and move around in a spiral motion. AI pretty dumb. Game beaten in 2 mins. Love the movie though.
