Anticlimactic
I found this game fairly engaging when I first started it, however the gameplay seemed to reach it's peak very early on. Attaining the scuba gear and jetpack was helpful...
I suppose it was just that, while the terrain was different for each gate battle, the battles themselves were so similar as to be indistinguishable.
The final boss gate took about as long (or even less time) than all of the other lesser bosses.
I did enjoy the look of the game though, and it certainly has potential. I enjoyed playing it and I think, with a little tweaking, it could be worth returning to.

Like mnirem I would say the lack of music was mostly disappointing. Good for one play-through, but then I don't have the desire to play it another time. And way too much to walk. If you could have warped or teleported between the respawners it might haven't been so boring. When you have to walk from one end of the map to another just to get an equipment for which use you can straight go back from where you came, thats not good to me. But as you can see, I still played it through.

Fun game tho. Nice way to spend 15 minutes.

It was a great all round game except the end, the little block of text was kinda pointless since you were never given a story at the beginning
