What the hell was that?
It was entertaining. But what the hell was it? it didn't make any sense to me.

Not a game
And that is OK! I knew from the moment I started this it was not so much a game as much as it was an interactive music video. And it stole my heart for the day. Simple visuals, I especially love the transitions from simple pixels to solids and then it just goes nuts. The music is sweet too. I really enjoyed this. Also, just may have to check out Ukigumo now, lol.
Nice game(?)
This is not realy a game.
You could also let the right button and the spacebar be and just animate it completly.
Neither the less it was fun to watch. :)
Surprising!
I was in store for a game, and after running for a moment, it just takes you into a music video. The visuals were great, very smooth. Sometimes I had my guy stop for a moment, and when he started back up, it was great. The music was just awesome, I really got that 8-bit feel. 10/10!
Great song, terrible homage.
"After watching Ukigumo a billionth time I thought it would be cool if you could play it."
If you can call holding the right arrow and pressing space occasionally "playing".
I personally would have preferred to see you do a completely different take on this song, to make a video that was your own creation. Or at least if you were adamant about making this into a game, do it in a different way so it's actually fun to play.
Still, I gotta thank you for introducing me to this amazing piece of music.
