not bad
this would be a great game for a cell phone. although the basic premise of this game is pretty old but its still made well.

Meh, not too bad...
The controls were too unresponsive though, takes too long to move up or down. No enemy dying animation? Or at least exploding? No sound either? Just put some music in, at least once you get better at ActionScript. Another complaint is that you get hurt from just touching enemies with the very tip of the tentacles. May want to fix that.
Alright for a starting game
I have one suggestion for next time. The ratio of good stuff to bad stuff was a little off, in the sense that there is way more bad the good.
Keep on improving, you'll get better and better
