Reviews for "Super Mario 64 | Jolly Roger"

Yeah, keep doin this.

Amazin stuff. everything said by the other few reviews. unlike any other 'mix of Mario's old Jolly Roger Bay. I gave it a 9 because of 80kbps, but it is indeed a big file: perhaps a little too repetitive.

Pretty good.

I like how the music style shifts.

Excellent.

I was looking for this, and I just happened to stumble on this remix, which was a relief to my ears.

The only problem I had was that the percussion got to be a little too harsh, I would suggest toning it down a bit.

A very good remix of one of Koji's best works

Great job dude. This one is a pretty different take on Jolly Roger Bay. Most remixes of it are slow piano (which I don't like). This one kinda reminds me of flying, which is great. The piano's great, and the drum background is awesome. The string instruments sound just like the N64 version, which isn't a bad thing at all. In fact it's a good thing.

the 80kb bitrate hurts it at some parts though. If you want to up the bitrate, you should submit it to VGMix or OCremix (just go ahead and submit it to both). I think they'll enjoy it there too, and they give you plenty of space because they're dedicated video game remix sites. Let me know if you do submit it to those sites, because a higher quality recording of the song would be great.

In closing, this is a different take on an already very good song. Worthy of all ears.

=)

Well, i can submit it there, but i already got a site, there you can listen to the high-bitrate version... Just go to http://www.soundclick.com/djdajova and listen to "Mario's Jolly". It's exacly this song, but higher bitrate :))

Mmm

Always got to give props to Dry dry docks. One if not the most memorable easy tune in 64 history.
