Reviews for "NG Audio Bridge"

Impressive!

I can't even begin to figure out how you made this, but it's very impressive.
Can't wait for phase 3 :)

gumOnShoe responds:

AS3, its magic. ;)

good, getting better

I always enjoy these type of gadgets. I'm looking forward to seeing it in its next stage with play list features and being able to go back and find songs you've listened too.

The filter system is very useful also, one suggestion is perhaps including a setting so you can filter out shorter pieces of music?
Also a timer over the bar would be nice so i can see how long a track is.

gumOnShoe responds:

Thanks for the thoughts

not bad

I like this but it slows my computer to much for me to do anything else

gumOnShoe responds:

Yeah, I'm going to add in a viziualization disabler probably tonight. Should help

Damn cool

My only suggestions would be more filtering capability!

Like filtering songs by length, especially. I HATE 30sec little clips!

gumOnShoe responds:

I'd have to do tons of calculations that I don't have the processing power to do to make this work. Sorry.

There are tons of things I'd fine tune & implement if I had unlimited resources, but that's not the way the world works.

Oh the greatness, 5

What a great idea this is, connects people to the massive NG audio base and does it well. The filtering is awesome and I like the fact that you link to the userpage and song page. The visualizer was a nice touch but I would like to see more from it.

gumOnShoe responds:

I may actually have to drop the vizualizer. It sucks up ram, and as nice as it is to have something pretty I had to mirror the entire audio collection and serve the mp3s from my own host, which means crawling and downloading every week. This caused teh entire thing to crash. So as much as I would like to serve the mp3s and provide the visualizers I can't do it at the rate the player is making money...

We'll see...
