This game was funny. Gameplay was great and art was cool as was the Music. Once again, NG's top brass shines.

In a world full of crap shooters...
This one is just the opposite(HAHA pee joke...) As soon as I saw the game was by you two, I sort of had a feeling it was going to be great. So let's break it down!
Graphics: They stick to, as far as I know, the pee man series. I actually never watched them, I'm just going by the pictures of them on the main screen. As far as by theirselves though, the graphics do what they need to in a simplistic manner. I found it to be a great touch that no matter which direction you went, be it diagonal, up, down, left or right, there was an animation for it. The enemy quite frankly makes no sense to me, but as I said, I never watched the vids so I can't make a judgement on that.
Gameplay: This is where the game shines. The game walks the fine line between too hard, and too easy. It takes skill and memorization to dodge the projectiles the boss shoots at you in each of his phazes(bar the last one for obvious reasons.) On the other side, you do a lot of damage to him with just a little bit of collecting. It's because of that the fights aren't too long, and aren't too short.
Sound/Music: The music was epic, while the sound was, obviously enough, farts and metal clanks. The sounds work for what they're in there for, but they definitely don't stand out amongst a crowd. The thing I found interesting about the music though, is that even though the song was just looping over and over, it still didn't get repetitive. That's something you don't see(hear) very often.
Overall, this game shows how a side-scroller should be, though I've quite frankly come to expect nothing less from the guys at NG. Good job you two! And RIP Ben.
