Okay but...

..things just popping up out of nowhere randomly without a warning mean that it is virtually impossible to even think of getting a high combo without being incredibly lucky. Just destroys the replayability for me so only fun for 1 or 2 goes, shame as I would have liked to play it for longer if it had some sort of warning as to where things would appear.

Thanks for the feedback. To address issues of fairness and obstacle visibility I did make it so all the objects "warp in" slowly and only get deadly once they are fully formed on screen. The spikes on the edges also move in slowly as well from the edges and can't hurt you until they are in position. When the objects are all long and vertically or horizontally scaled out they can't hurt you. You can also use the shrinking stretch of them to figure out where they will be centering.

Really nice concept: use something wath want to destroy you for destroyind something else is a good idea

not bad

Pretty simple fun concept. I wish the game would pause when your pointer went off the screen. Some of the levels are intense and your pointer is going all over the place id go off the screen too often and would get gang rapped by the enemies i had on my tail.

"As far as screen edges issues go well there actually isn't a lot I can do. It is far to jarring to pause the game if the mouse hits the edge because it happens a lot and would lead to an equally frustrating experience for the player. Since this game is a mouse skills type game at heart avoiding the screen edges as well as the obstacles are all part of the challenge. Sorry I don't have a better solution. Flash games often have issues with game screen edges because the flash player doesn't allow us to lock the mouse. "

Cool game

Neat idea, but one question, is the song an 8-bit knights of cydonia?

Hey! I'm impressed you picked up on a secret inspiration I had for a part of the game song! A friend was playing that Knights of Cydonia song for me while I was writing this track and I thought "I wonder if I can get an instrument that sort of sounds like one from that song." It was then really stuck in my head so I then riffed on that theme a little for part of the music of my game. There are three different mini melodies my game uses and one is definitely heavily inspired from memory of the Muse track. It isn't identical but that is the seed!
