Putting aside the whole, animal cruelty thing...
This game still has issues...
1: Every now and then, my launcher would auto use my cats as ammo, and would only stop when certain ammo spaces were freed up, but would proceed to auto use them again if i picked up any, if it helps i used the shortcut keys.
2: now, I admit, I am not the best gamer out there, but I spend most of my time immersed in one game or another and if I am having a great deal of trouble just trying to stay alive, I would say that this needs difficulty settings or a smoother difficulty curve.
3: attributes to 2, but the powerups are incredibly powerful(least the ones i saw were), and as such makes the player want to rely on them. I would balance this out with weaker more frequent ones or in some way replace them with more permanent upgrades. The reason being that no game, that's purpose is to have fun in a short amount of time, should heavily rely on luck, it's not like the average player is going to play a flash game of this style/caliber for weeks let alone days.
Those were the worst ones, but this game isn't all bad, it would appear that a great deal of effort was put forth and a good game was made, I will suggest though that beta testing a game would have probably weeded out all the previously mentioned problems...
So as a score, good graphics, great instructions(they were shown on diagram and were spoken), a good twist on game play, I will give a 7/10, 4/5. If you ever get around to changing or fixing this game, i would be more than happy to play it more.
I hope to see more and most importantly I hope this was a good learning experience for you. Good luck
And to the rest of you idiot reviewers, "If you are giving this submission a low score, please offer constructive criticism that will be useful to the artist." is a requirement to review. A review like "this is mean" or "this sucks" is NOT following this guideline and helps no one. It would be better for everyone if you took your childish, single minded comments else where as no one here cares for them.
