ok i didn't really put any thought into this but i'll try put something to it (if you like the answer leave a comment on the news post)
when the dad saw his child standing there coverd in blood his brain kicked in and all he wanted was food at that momment in time since the child is small he only had to stomp on him to put him down with that he quickly put him in the oven cooking him slowly (cooking people slow is the key to maxium flavor) the boys clothes got burned of (except his arm that came on from the impact of the stomp) so it was easy for the father to eat... hope that helps
