start game. use my default attack. miss. opponent runs up and executes like a 10 hit combo on me doing tons of damage.

The combat system takes time to master. You should include more content, so it lasts longer than five minutes.
I'm sure you'll make a good game eventually, but I can't give a good rating to a game with only one fight.

Some bizarre stuff to be fixed:
If you lose the battle and try again, the "Hero's" HP will start at 0, same for the "Villain" if you win.
And either way, the battle theme will play along with the Menu theme.
