Reviews for "Mote Prime"

So while listening, each part, I've thought "yeah this part's my jam." "...no, this part is." and you know what? It's all my jam. The time spent on each part perfecting everything just makes this such an amazing song. I don't even want to call it a piece. It's a song and it's beautiful and I want to buy a flat in the middle of a huge city and just blast this song out the window.

By the near end, the instruments just weave around each other in such a way that twinned with the consistent rhythm of the drums, it becomes hypnotic with the lovely piano being used really well to bring the pace back down again. REALLY gorgeous. I woke up panicked today because I kept having dreams about aliens, it wasn't very good... maybe I predicted that I'd hear this song.

Amazing man, favourite.

Thank you, it means a lot! I'm very happy you enjoyed it. :) I can't wait to collaborate!

omfg! This is so simple, yet so great!... it sounds amazing! I'm definitly gonna download this to hear it more often... and your guitar!... it sounds so natural!
Great thing you did there, using your guitar as a midi controler!.. I think I'll try that myself some day :)

Where do you work? I hope is doing amazing music, cause if not, I'll hit you in the face...

:P... good luck this round!

Oh my lord, this is eargasmic. So cool and chill for the first half, I just closed my eyes and got lost in the jam. You've described that alien, otherworldly feel so perfectly through music that it gave me shivers. Your percussion remains tight throughout, and the final quarter just plain rocks before slipping back into a chill and mysterious vibe for the outro.

The overall length of the piece is also impressive, especially considering that you did it all in just three days. You've just made seven and a half minutes pass by in an instant for me...twice. As a lover of all things piano, your ivory arpeggios from 6:41 to 6:45 were a very pleasant surprise. You're a force to be reckoned with, and it's easy to see how you took the top spot last year. Best of luck, man. Thanks for the ride.

Kor-Rune responds:

Thank you! I'm happy I could pull off a vibe I wanted for once, thanks for the review!

To be fair, I did kill myself and work on the track for about 12-13 hours per day I spent on it, so the project totaled around 35-40 hours of work. Glad you enjoyed it! Good luck this round!
