More complex than it seems
Good God, I've spent HOURS at this already, and could probably still go on. The minimal description only makes the addictiveness and depth of the game more surprising - it feels not just "retro", with it's vectory-style graphics, but rather "arcade". And I mean real videogame arcades, where you feed coins to get a chance at reaching a highscore.
It's simple at first: you have good firepower, predictable enemy patterns, epic fire rate; all the signs of a damn simple shooter. And then you realize it's like being ordered to get headshots with a vulcan cannon: possible, kinda. And THEN, when you get a nice multiplier, you notice how the screen is getting uncomfortably crowded...
One of the best flash games I've seen in quite some time.

Wow I really love how simple it seems then you start up a multiplier and the game really starts to take off!
I like the cool basic soundtrack in there too.
