Meh.

I understand why people like it. I understand why people don't like it. Myself, I didn't like it.

First of all, this had nothing to do with the madness plot at all. Maybe you didn't want it to be, but in that case, don't call it madness or let it refer to the series, because that is downright insulting. The only thing that was relatable, is the shooting of the faceless henchmen with a cloaked red-glasses-wearing guy.

Secondly, as a game itself it had nothing special or challenging at all. It was just shooting. Heck, what cool is it when I can't even die and have unlimited ammo?

Now I don't want to be too criticizing, there were some good things as well. I liked the artwork, some of the points of view were very well done (I refer to the scenario with the ladder).
And as Mr. Gripped mentioned, the idea of a "how many times do you get hit" gives at least some entertainment and challenge.

Conclusion?

I guess most people don't get it -- you added creativity and new characters while making your own storyline and game idea.
Fun game, love the style, the 'how many times do you get hit' thing was an interesting addition and gave this game more replay value than most Madness tribute (most of which are really, really terrible).

really?!

can't die? really? two weapons all game? really? were you hung over when you made this game? complete lack of creativity, i think. at least add a health factor and it'd be worth a 5

Decent Game really, but I like it.

It's not much of a game as far as playability goes, you just click near your enemies heads. And you can't die, which makes it less challenging, but more leisurely, so that's ok for casual gamers.

I like the art style though, and I'm not sure why, but I find this really fun. So, good start. It would be nice to see you try again at this and make more of a game out of it in a sequel.

Hmmmm

You get 4 stars for animation. The game-play is about as fun as a pick your own adventure book. Kinda weird with the whole moon thing.
