Reviews for "Hurdle Turtle: Flash!"

Nice retro game

AHAH! Really liked it. Nice retro feel. Colors and graphics remind me of Excitebike.
I think the music shares a few notes with Gillette - Don't want no short dick man. AHAHAH!

I think the "game over" screen should display your distance. Maybe also my personal best, which I could try to beat.

In a future version, I'd like to see some powerups, levels, and why not a few enemies... ;)

Holmfry responds:

Excellent feedback, particularly the bit about the game over screen displaying your score. I'm taking notes and will keep this all in mind for a future update :).

For now, if you have an Xbox, you can try that version for more levels! :). Thanks for the great review!

It is fun!

While this game is fairly frustrating as it goes on, it still manages to have a great amount of fun to it. I think the main factor is how good the sound is. I just love hearing the turtle jump around with that silly jumping sound all the time. It was also great to see it slowly speed up and it was interesting to see how fast paced it got to be. You truly have to keep up with this game at least after awhile. Sometimes it becomes so absorbing, it is actually hard to tell what side the brick wall is on!

Good game

but it really hurt my eyes, and sometimes i couldn't hit spacebar fast enough, once it got up to speed after 100m, probably just my laptop though.

Good game, wasted a good 15 mins or so

Thanks for the review! One trick you can try is jumping forward to go over two hurdles at once.. there's points where you need to do this later on in the game. Glad you enjoyed it and glad I was able to help kill some time! :)

nice

at first when I started slow, I was like "maaaan, getting 300 is gonna be easy!"
but then he started speeding up XD

cool game yet it could use some variation with the obstacles (which basically have the same functions)
for example, the bars could be small ponds, electric wires etc and the walls could have been houses etc...
that way there is some variation between the design of the obstacles

also, but maybe this was done on purpose, I'm a big fan of random 'level ups' or health packages you come along the way
although the long respawn time kinda makes up for it so you can move to a safer spot instead of getting hit 2 times because the eyes can't keep up

all in all is the game well balanced :)

Holmfry responds:

Great review, thanks! I'm happy to hear you had fun! If you have an Xbox, you can check out that version, it has more levels with different zany obstacles :)

AHHHHHHH!!! MY EYES
