Reviews for "Command Grid"

Uhm...

Game is pretty familiar to me either, also gaining money is hard.
It takes too much waves to get a little turret...
Not bad anyway, just needs couple changes.

Not very good

Normally I like these Military Strategy/Defense games...but NOT this one.

First off: As mk1fish said you gain money WAY to slow...I was able to build just 4 turrents with the funds I had at the start--more money at the onset would be nice too--and I remember seeing a heads up that air units were going to arrive in 4 waves I though "4 waves will be pleanty of time to get some ani-air turrents..." Nope...when the air units came all I had were my grounds units.

You need to make it so that you have funds rolling in at a steady clip so that you can purchase/upgrade your guns. Either make the enimies worth more...give more funds at the start or do both so that you can buld your defenses accordingly.

I'm being nice with the 5 rating--I see that there is the spark of greatness in this game. A few changes and this game does have the potential to be a 10 star game...just needs a little refining.

Either too easy or too expensive

I've read a lot of complaints about how everything is too expensive. And, to be frank, it is. The cheapest base takes at least one hundred enemies to be able to purchase. What the fuck is that about? Not to mention upgrading is the same price as the base! It should start off much cheaper and work its way up. Have you ever actually played a TD game? That's usually how they go!

For those who are having trouble avoiding these price gauging problems, I found a very simple solution that breaks this game. Spend your inital $1000 on the goliath turret and set it north of your base. It takes out all land and air units quickly. With all the money you get, use blockades so enemies can only come from one direction. This makes the goliath turret work a lot less. After that, just save up for additional turrets if you're feeling saucy.

eh.

Goliath takes the strategy/fun out ...i had 5 of them and 10k extra cash...i was so bored i was making a barricade icon of a ninja head at the side of the screen...i say take it out or raise the price so you cant start with it

Has anyone else noticed that you will hit upgrade and the money will go down but you wont be upgraded. Also your money goes down for no reason some times. other than which sucks it's an alright game.
