Eh......
Actually i think it was a nice game but:
-It needs a "save",cause it gets boring if you keep playing levels after levels
-AI sometimes gets annoying,first it get my 3 ships at ONE TURN,then sinked one more,and get 2 other with one turn.5 ships in 2 turns? Reallly...
Fun game anyway...
Chain-killing..
ISNT fun. Get a hit and you can blow up half the ennemy fleet in seconds. (or get yours get blown up)
Cannonballs give away the position of ennemy ships.
Special skills just make the game even less predictable, maybe easier, but it goes both ways. So its all about luck.
Entirely luck-based.
Powers are way too powerfull.
Hit combos break the game.
Omniscent computer?
Seems like, the second it landed a hit, the computer demolished half my fleet in one turn. Actually, there's no seems like to it- once the computer landed a hit, my fleet was gone.
On the upside, it's basically classic battleship, with a few interesting concepts, and decent graphics and sound. Chain hits ruin it though, and the ever present problem of making the AI not instantly know where everything is and able to perfectly destroy a ship from one hit in the middle of nothing.
Half and half
I'll give this a 5 out of 10 since it's half-and-half. The excellent half: the graphics, the sound, the animation, the campaign map and the ability to level up. The not-so-excellent half: it's not quite clear how to turn your ships when setting up, or how to put them in diagonally. Also, I have to agree with the two people who said chain-hitting takes the suspense out of the game. It does, so it should be disabled on the first few maps and only used as a 'power' later on. And you know, this IS Flash.. how hard is it to go get the classic wmv of "Aww sis, you sunk my battleship!"
not what i was expecting
it didn't even like this game. i thought it would be a flash film about how it all started out first. sorry but i'm giving you a 4/10
