Reviews for "A Robo Western"

Good, but a few things that bugged me.

I liked this video quite a bit and it has very nice animation and looks.

but i found myself though the whole video thinking, "oh something random is going to happen out of nowhere." or something really anticlimactic. and thats not necessarily bad in some cases but this video was trying to have a seriousness to it and have a mood set. The ending i found to be a dissapointment, because i kept having the feeling of randomness was going to happen then, surprise...not, rocket launcher and it took the serious mood of the video and took it to random/cliche/trying to be an action movie...which its not a high action movie.

in summary i guess, the mood's you were trying to set were to subtle and seemed to not be what the movie was aiming for, and the ending was just uncreative to me.

I like the movie, but it could have been better in my opinion. (for whatever its worth...)

I though it was cool.

I can tell this whole thing was pretty well thought out, but I too agree you did rush the ending a little. Overall, I liked it.

this western needs more soomething

the visuals were great and the music etc. was good just the build up for such a small scene. try to have some tension in the scenes, but everything else was ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaa atttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A great movie

This was a great movie, but in full honesty the ending was disappointing.

With a story behind it, characters that were pretty cool and the animation that was beautiful, the ending that was put in was just... lacking.

Try to think of an ending that would be more epic instead of... something cheap.

And also, contrary to what MorkiaRed says, I feel Tarboy had a more completely story and was ultimately better.

Hell nice!

Amazing animation...the colors and movement really make this. Dusty, clunked-together metal towns, but with attention given to the parts that matter (doors, vehicles, guns). All beautifully animated with loads of character. It's a cool theme with amazing potential.
Unfortunately I think it was pulled down a bit by two things...some sections of the writing and the audio. The storyline in general is a good theme...old, wounded sheriff finds the tools he needs to take back his down... but the order in which things are told, the plot-device weapon(Why didn't the other sheriff use it if it was so immediately/easily effective?) and some clunky dialog could have used some time getting refined.
The sound design is bland and drags down the visuals...really punchy, awesome sounds would bring it out a lot more. The music is adequate but it'd be a lot cooler if it better matched what was happening rather than just dragged and dropped in.
The voice overs are great, however. :)
I mean all this in the best interest of helpful criticism, because I loved the movie and felt it a shame that these things held it back in my opinion. Keep up the awesome work!! :D
