Reviews for "A Wolf at the Door."

another awesome piece

Great work again.

I'm digging the skull. This may just be nitpicking on my part, but it's so close to being anatomically correct. The only things I can spot right now are that it lacks the sutures and the cheek closest to us should be a little more pronounced.

Aside from that, the background blends into the foreground a little too much and it's hard to tell where what ends and when what begins, etc etc. Also it looks like it's a skull attached to a fully fleshed (yet skinny) human body. I'd suggest making the clothes much more saggy and wrinkled, and really emphasize some highlights where the bones would meet the cloth.

I'm a little out of it at the moment, so if any of it doesn't make sense or you're just not looking for critiques, let me know.

Regardless, great work!

Thank you!

Very nice work

This was nice it even reminds me of some character work from poxnora, anyways would have loved more of a frame or border on this one, Very scary and creepy. It looks exactly like the cover off those scary stories to tell in the dark books. Probably because it's a similar style. Something about watercolors, they either look really beautiful or really scary. The artist did a great job with details here. He blended the colors together perfectly. The background looks very cool. I like the column of smoke in the back and how there's a touch of reddish glow in it, like smoldering embers.
