Too deep
First off, the obvious. The animation values in this movie are downright incredible. The art is solid, the coloration effects are good, and the transitions and special effects are sharp and varied.
But this movie suffers from excessive depth. There is a lot of story and action behind this movie, the events portrayed, but none of it actually has any explanation or history provided. We can only assume that the main character is Craig...but then, who are the others? Who are the zombie/monster things?
The problem with stick animations, which this is at its core, is that the characters aren't easy to distinguish. Even when given the helmets, it's still tough to know if it is "Craig" under there, or someone else. And then at the end, when the one is saved by the other...who are they? Which is which?
You definitely deserve props for your skill with flash (or whatever programs you used). I don't deny that at all. This movie has great artistic talent behind it, and very strong cinematic value. But as a movie, even as part of a series, it isn't comfortable to watch because you can't connect with any of the characters...mostly because they can't be distinguished.
Keep up the good work. Truly.
