GREAT GAME
this was a really great game. i could not stop playing it. when it finished, i took a shot at everlasting.

a solid Clock Day shoot 'em up
On Clock Day, users traditionally submit loads of Clock-themed works and vote 5's on everything they see. Of course, this means that many less-than-stellar submissions will make it pass judgment with inflated scores. However, there are always a few exceptional Flashes that truly deserve the 5's they get. SBC is Awesome is one of them.
In the game, the player takes control of the titular character StrawberryClock (the guy who started the Clock craze) and faces off against squadrons of other fruit-Clocks.
To a seasoned gamer, SBC is Awesome may be a bit too easy. There is no boss, and the player wins after surviving for a few minutes. However, the gameplay is very smooth, and the music is very nice (the music seems to "freeze" occasionally, but the problem lies with the soundtrack, not the game). The 11 Newgrounds medals are a nice addition, too. Some of the graphics look a little rushed, but all of these downsides are understandable, since the author only had a short time to finish this game.
In any case, SBC is Awesome is one of the few Clock Crew submissions that I really liked. Well done.

I agree with the graphics looking rushed, I spent more time coding the game than I did drawing the graphics. I'd write a detailed response back but I'm terrible at that sort of stuff. Thanks :D

It is pretty awesome
Thank you again for making such an easy way to get medals. I guess it is things like that which makes Clock Day truly worth it in the end. I felt the graphics were good in this one, but not the best. The only complaint I would have is that it is a little too easy to beat everything, but I should not complain about that with the medals. The music was also quite nice and it gave off a feeling of joy and spontaneousness. The best upgrade is easily the one that allows you to shoot the orange blasts.

Yeah I tried to make the game easier than I originally planned because I thought people would get bored and rate 0 if they died without there being a checkpoint. It was only meant to be an easy short game, sometimes flash games are long and they drag on a bit too much.

Very nice game, though you could have put more clock characters in instead of just the fruits. Maybe like a bonus content at the end of the game? Also would love to have more lives since my mouse is a little bit unresponsive so it makes the game difficult for me.
